This wasn't a birthday cake, but a cake for a party at Shore Leave, a con in Hunt Valley, MD.
And it was delicious :-D
I just picked up another cake from Charm City, actually - an air hockey table (the pic is at my livejournal: http://masteralida.livejournal.com/1114678.html right now, more to come after the party), and we are having an Imperial Star Destroyer made for MarCon in May, 2007.
It is definately a rockin' cake. I am assuming that you are going to Marcon at the Hyatt Regency here in Columbus - if so, drop me a line and I will stop by to oogle your Star Destroyer...
that was pretty cool! me and the hubby had just seen the model for the one in the movie at the sci-fi museum in seattle. i just came across your blog...pretty good stuff. i'll be back!
