You just wait - I think I counted about 60 pepper blossoms and about 40 zuchinni blossoms....Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02240724592494697342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14015719.post-1150943347808962842006-06-21T22:29:00.000-04:002006-06-21T22:29:00.000-04:00In defense of my Rosie, her cheesecake is awesome ...In defense of my Rosie, her cheesecake is awesome in the most literal sense of the word. I am a cheesecake purist. I like plain cheesecake, no cherries, no strawberries maybe just a little sour cream as icing. I tried her chocolate cheesecake out of loyalty and love for her, now I hurt people to get more than my share. Yes I'm just a little old lady but don't get between me and a piece of Rosie's cheesecake. I promise you won't be there long! And super KUDOS to her for making 2 cheesecakes to settle the bidding war and to help those little bitty babies. They aren't cheap to make and are time consuming. For a busy, busy lady with a hubby and a TEENAGER this was an impressive donation. Thanks again miss Rose - Love ya Gail.
P.S. Rose, why didn't you tell me the garden was from scratch. I grew up on a farm, I know I could have talked you out of it. If not I could have given you pointers for that huge root. Pretty garden, I'm glad you're doing it & not me. But I will share the bounty if necessary.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14015719.post-1149246908801096192006-06-02T07:15:00.000-04:002006-06-02T07:15:00.000-04:00Sher - One day I will actually get to take a pictu...Sher - One day I will actually get to take a picture of the cheesecake before someone digs into it. Everyone seems to lack self control when it comes to dessert in my circle of friends and coworkers.

Yes -I thought about breaking into Mr. McGregor's garden, but Flopsy and Mopsy were scared and wouldn't go with me!

Thanks - I have four zuchinni plants too - I should ship you some of the bounty to see what you can make of them...Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02240724592494697342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14015719.post-1149140811005492932006-06-01T01:46:00.000-04:002006-06-01T01:46:00.000-04:00OK, first off, have we seen a picture of the chees...OK, first off, have we seen a picture of the cheesecake? Hummph! And you are suddenly so virtuous. "Who do I have to KILL to get a fresh ripened tomato?" Come on--there is a much easier route you can take, and you wouldn't wind up in jail for homicide! Think, think! :):)

Nice garden, by the way. Good job.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
